I know how we felt when our cat, Minky died. Our garden is a graveyard to dozens of rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils and hamsters, and we get used to them going, but longer living pets like cats certainly have more of gap in our lives when they go.

It's good to see you're back online and I hope everything else returns to normal soon - and that everything goes well at the doctors.

xDamian Harveyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06186889040243262544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-711618681626469103.post-55560426062574422912009-08-01T13:47:03.119-07:002009-08-01T13:47:03.119-07:00JAY

It's so soft to touch and silent as well. Not much luck with the freezer yet. But I'm working on it.granny grimblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08257953737883411387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-711618681626469103.post-47274162559733375252009-08-01T08:17:03.827-07:002009-08-01T08:17:03.827-07:00Oh Lord ... you certainly have been having a serie...Oh Lord ... you certainly have been having a series of mishaps. I'm so sorry about your little cat. I know how heartbreaking that is. :(

Sorry to hear about the lump, too. Hopefully the scan will show that it's nothing very much and it'll be dealt with quickly and easily. Fingers crossed for that!

As to the crown and the dentist. I live in dread that mine will decide to retire. I might have to beg, plead, cajole and offer him my body if he'll only continue to see to my teeth! Not that he'd want my body. LOL!

Seriously though, I trust this dentist like no other. I can't imagine having to do without him, so I do feel for you. And missing a crown can't be any fun, even without the loss of a good dentist.Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00496924033221866102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-711618681626469103.post-42683997541964340012009-08-01T07:59:27.452-07:002009-08-01T07:59:27.452-07:00WEECHUFF

Yes I can hopefully recover fromn all
the other problems, but we can
never bring boomer back, she was
such a lovely cat. Such beautiful
khol lined eyes.

SWUBIRD
As the old song says 'Into each life some rain must fall, but too much is falling in mine'
I've now installed a new keyboard and mouse, but am still looking
for a freezer. Also still waiting
for my scan appointment. I am so sad about losing Boomer. I lost my ginger Emma the day before Christmas Eve. She was 18 and ill, but Boomer was only thirteen and (I thought) fit. Wed are now down to one cat for the first time ever in about 40 years! May you have many
more years of love from Trixie.

BABS (BEETLE)

No I didn't know all the dentists are leaving. I think I know what's happened there, and it's all part of my ongoing problems, which I will tell you about in private ;)Babs-beetlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10309239308633895951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-711618681626469103.post-9347268845568855612009-08-01T07:00:50.911-07:002009-08-01T07:00:50.911-07:00Granny:

It's been a while since I've heard of anybody having as many problem all at once as you've had over these last weeks. So sorry.

I trust everything is back together now---fingers crossed, of course. Sorry, I meant everything except for your poor little cat. Too bad about her/him. We've had a cat for about seventeen years, so I can surely sympathize with your loss. Trixie is her name. I bought her from a local pet dealer after receiving a lot of pressure from my youngest daughter. The poor thing was sickly and had a problem with one eye, but my daughter wouldn't change her mind. So I bought her, took her to the vet three or four times, and we nursed the little darling back to normal. My daughter has finished college and left home, but Trixie is still with us.

Glad you are back on line.

Take care, and rememeber...

Happy trails.Swubirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16009070690312312456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-711618681626469103.post-9397044797340751812009-08-01T01:19:47.995-07:002009-08-01T01:19:47.995-07:00Goodness me!
